Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport packages to residential and commercial addresses.
- Interact professionally with customers, including accepting packages, obtaining signatures, and handling returns.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Load and unload cargo securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Utilize handheld devices to manage routes, track inventory, and communicate with dispatch.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with smartphone apps.
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
