Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A tractor-trailers in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logbooks.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and law enforcement.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and delivery schedules to ensure on-time arrivals.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT physical examination card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Clean driving record with no major moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of interstate and intrastate traffic laws.
