Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial tractor-trailers in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any defects.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and cargo securement.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and maintain a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT medical card and valid DOT physical on file.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
