Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in and around the San Francisco metropolitan area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring weight distribution is accurate.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and manage delivery documentation (BOL, manifests).
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license with the appropriate endorsements (Hazmat/Tanker preferred but not required).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT physical.
- Strong knowledge of local San Francisco geography and traffic patterns.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
