Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on regional routes with on-time delivery performance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and load optimization
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Assist in freight handling and secure loading/unloading procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- 2+ years of regional route experience in dry van or flatbed transport
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate manual transmission
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional weekend work
