Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26ft Box Truck to transport freight to designated delivery locations in and around Santa Ana, CA.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is road-ready and compliant with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery receipts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Represent ExpressTruck Logistics professionally at all times, maintaining a clean and professional vehicle appearance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience driving Box Trucks or similar Class C commercial vehicles.
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent commercial driving experience.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Must have current commercial auto insurance and valid registration.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and background check.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on punctuality and safety.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging hours and managing paperwork.
