Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional freight delivery
- Manage route optimization and on-time delivery performance
- Maintain daily vehicle inspection logs and compliance documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for load assignments and schedule adjustments
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage inventory handling and secure cargo protocols
- Submit accurate mileage and expense reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Reliable 24-26ft box truck (2008 model or newer)
- Strong knowledge of Minneapolis metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- DOT medical certification current
- Basic smartphone proficiency for dispatch app
- Entrepreneurial mindset and self-motivation
