Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within 150-mile radius
- Load/unload cargo using forklifts and manual handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD compliance)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Operate in various weather conditions and industrial environments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Current TWIC card and Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate basic warehouse equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS requirements
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays as needed
