Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and landscaping supplies
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Load/unload materials at job sites using proper equipment techniques
- Navigate complex urban and suburban construction sites efficiently
- Coordinate with dispatch and site supervisors for timely deliveries
- Maintain clean vehicle appearance and secure cargo during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with airbrake endorsement
- Minimum 1 year of dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Clean MVR with no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Seattle-area traffic patterns and construction zones
- Basic equipment troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and time-management skills
