Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck (26-28ft) for local/regional freight delivery
- Manage loading/unloading operations with proper equipment usage
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Optimize routes for efficient delivery timelines
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Reliable owned box truck (26-28ft) in good condition
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M+ liability)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
