Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school on designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain strict adherence to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Manage student behavior with positive reinforcement techniques
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Complete accurate daily mileage and incident reports
- Participate in ongoing safety and professional development training
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or willingness to obtain through our training program
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong interpersonal skills and patience when working with children
- Reliability and punctuality essential
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
