Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26-foot box truck for local and regional deliveries within a 150-mile radius.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.
- Keep the truck interior and exterior clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Must own a well-maintained 26-foot box truck.
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with air brakes endorsement.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable box truck driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and reliability.
- Must reside within a reasonable driving distance of Stockton, CA.
