Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and documentation as required by DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Adhere to company policies regarding driving hours and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL Driver’s License required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT physical.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo handling.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
