Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate logbooks
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient load delivery and pickup
- Ensure secure handling of hazardous materials (HAZMAT-certified preferred)
- Maintain professional customer service during client interactions
- Utilize GPS technology for optimal route planning
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- HAZMAT endorsement highly preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Must be 21+ years of age
