Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods to designated delivery points on schedule.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients at delivery locations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial vehicle.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major traffic violations within the last 3 years.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as required.
