Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Vehicle: Drive commercial trucks in a safe, legal, and professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load & Unload Cargo: Secure freight properly during loading and unload efficiently upon arrival at delivery points.
- Maintain Records: Accurately complete daily logs (DOT compliant), delivery receipts, and vehicle inspection reports.
- Vehicle Inspection: Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and clients to ensure satisfaction with delivery services.
- Route Planning: Follow assigned routes efficiently to meet delivery deadlines and optimize fuel consumption.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL: Must possess a current and valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) in the state of Missouri.
- Clean Driving Record: Must have a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- DOT Medical Card: Must hold a current Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read maps and GPS devices effectively.
- Professionalism: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
