Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across Ohio routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members
- Resolve minor mechanical issues and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Ohio roadways and weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
