Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated addresses in a timely and efficient manner.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures for proof of delivery.
- Inspect vehicles daily to ensure cleanliness and proper mechanical condition.
- Handle packages with care, ensuring they are not damaged during transit.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving delivery issues professionally.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain accurate logs of delivery activities and mileage.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent state driver's license required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.) within the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable personal vehicle or access to a company vehicle.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries.
