Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (dry van & refrigerated) for regional routes
- Ensure safe, on-time delivery of freight to Boston-area locations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal route planning
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment (forklifts/pallet jacks)
- Communicate with clients and resolve delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Boston metro area routes
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Ability to work flexible shifts (early mornings/weekends)
- Strong communication and time-management skills
