Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods within the DC metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) compliance
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatchers for efficient route planning and time-sensitive deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and local traffic laws
- Secure cargo and maintain proper weight distribution
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
