Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for overnight freight transport throughout Northern California
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining optimal route efficiency
- Perform thorough pre-trip inspections and post-trip vehicle documentation
- Utilize telematics systems for real-time route optimization and communication
- Ensure full compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle necessary paperwork
- Collaborate with dispatch team for proactive issue resolution
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of California roadways and traffic patterns
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
