Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain strict adherence to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Supervise students during transit and ensure orderly behavior
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatchers
- Complete accurate daily route logs and incident reports
- Participate in mandatory safety training and drills
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- School Bus Endorsement (or willingness to obtain during training)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Minimum 1 year driving experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours (early mornings, afternoons, field trips)
- Clean driving record and background check
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
