Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school using district-approved routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Implement strict safety protocols for student boarding and exiting
- Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to all traffic laws and school district regulations
- Manage student behavior with positive reinforcement techniques
- Report maintenance issues and complete daily log documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Punctual and reliable with exceptional attendance
- Patience and ability to work well with children
- Willingness to obtain CDL permit (paid training provided)
