Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain student discipline and ensure bus safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with parents, schools, and dispatch
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and district policies
- Assist students with mobility needs and special requirements
- Complete incident reports and maintenance documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with School Bus Endorsement
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 5 years)
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist students with mobility
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Prior experience with children preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
