Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and field trips
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain strict adherence to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Manage student behavior with patience and professionalism
- Complete accurate daily route logs and incident reports
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to all federal/state transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana Driver's License (Class B CDL preferred but not required)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and sit for extended periods
- Must be 21+ years old
- No prior driving violations (DUIs, reckless driving)
