Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities in a timely and courteous manner.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure mechanical safety and cleanliness.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior, ensuring a pleasant environment for all passengers.
- Monitor student behavior on the bus and enforce safety rules and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, school personnel, and parents regarding schedules and any incidents.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a clean driving record with no DUIs or serious traffic violations within the last 7 years.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
- Must demonstrate patience, responsibility, and excellent customer service skills.
- Must be willing to undergo paid training and obtain required certifications.
