Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes with predictable schedules
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Operate in all weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols
- Coordinate loading/unloading at various facilities with minimal downtime
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate manual transmission
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Flexibility to adjust schedule for regional delivery demands
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices and transportation software
