Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to customers' doorsteps.
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Interact professionally and positively with customers, resolving any delivery issues efficiently.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and Amazon's safety standards at all times.
- Utilize handheld scanners and mobile devices to track package status and route information.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks before starting shifts.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle interior and exterior.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions, including rain, snow, and extreme heat.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and reporting.
