Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport at construction sites and industrial facilities
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and local traffic laws
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain clean and organized truck cab and loading equipment
- Support safety initiatives through proactive hazard identification
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck operation experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Jacksonville metro area and surrounding regions
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
