Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on various routes.
- Load and unload freight according to safety guidelines and company standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks, delivery receipts, and paperwork.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A or B (Class A preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Clean driving record (MVR check) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and cargo handling procedures.
- Basic mechanical skills to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
