Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students on assigned routes before/after school and during field trips
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Implement strict student safety protocols during loading/unloading
- Maintain accurate attendance and route documentation
- Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to all traffic laws and district safety standards
- Respond calmly to emergencies and student incidents
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to obtain Class B CDL with Passenger/School Bus Endorsement (training provided)
- Pass DOT physical/drug screening and background check
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb bus stairs
- Patience and experience working with children preferred
- Flexible availability (early mornings/afternoons)
