Responsibilities
- Safely Deliver Packages: Navigate assigned routes efficiently to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
- Load and Unload: Manually load and unload packages from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Customer Interaction: Deliver packages to the customer's door with a friendly demeanor, adhering to delivery protocols.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle issues immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Documentation: Accurately complete all required delivery paperwork and digital logs.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent commercial driving experience.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations or accidents within the last 3 years.
- Equipment: Your own reliable, DOT compliant commercial vehicle is required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills in English.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
