Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles across multi-state routes while adhering to DOT regulations
- Perform thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Deliver freight on time while maintaining exceptional customer service standards
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and troubleshoot delivery challenges
- Uphold strict safety protocols and represent Swift's brand values on every journey
- Manage secure cargo handling and documentation for high-value shipments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and pass DOT physical examination
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and route navigation systems
- Flexible schedule availability including overnight and weekend travel
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
