Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school and authorized activities along designated routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior, including the restroom, at all times.
- Follow all traffic laws, school district policies, and safety regulations strictly.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, parents, and school personnel regarding delays or issues.
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus in a safe and courteous manner.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class B CDL with School Bus endorsement is a plus but not required for training).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Clean driving record.
- Excellent customer service skills and patience.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable and punctual attendance history.
