Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles to safely transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, HOS, and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery documentation and coordinate with warehouse/warehouse teams
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route navigation and delivery timing
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate vehicle maintenance promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends/holidays
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging and documentation
