Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial tractor-trailer on dedicated regional routes between Virginia Beach and major East Coast hubs
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging compliance (ELD)
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading operations at client facilities
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and on-time deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and ELD usage
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally during loading/unloading
- Flexibility for overnight stays (1-2 nights/week)
