Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school on designated routes, adhering to strict schedules.
- Perform thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment on the bus at all times.
- Manage student behavior on the bus, enforcing safety rules and addressing any disciplinary issues.
- Communicate effectively with parents, school administrators, and dispatch personnel.
- Follow all traffic laws, Department of Transportation regulations, and district safety policies.
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, particularly those with special needs.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement (or willingness to obtain via our paid training program).
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
