Responsibilities
- Safely operate 26’ Box Trucks and Commercial Vans on local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, adhering to weight restrictions and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and daily mileage logs.
- Handle customer interactions professionally to ensure high satisfaction ratings.
- Adhere to all local traffic laws and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable box truck or commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT medical card).
- Fully owned and insured commercial vehicle (if applicable to specific contract type).
- Strong understanding of cargo securement and weight distribution.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
