Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight and goods
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes while adhering to schedules
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic records
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Comply with all DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Richmond, VA area and surrounding regions
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging and documentation
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including early mornings and weekends
