Responsibilities
- Operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for dedicated long-haul routes across the Southeast
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Manage electronic logging systems (ELD) and route documentation
- Maintain consistent communication with dispatch regarding delivery status
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling throughout transit
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with dedicated route background
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights/weekends
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Proficient in using ELD systems and navigation technology
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
