Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school, field trips, and extracurricular activities
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness standards
- Enforce student discipline policies while maintaining a positive environment
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and route schedules
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and transportation supervisors
- Complete accurate incident reports and maintenance documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger & School Bus endorsements
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience
- Pass federal DOT physical, background check, and random drug screenings
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist students with mobility needs
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage student behavior
- High school diploma or equivalent required
