As a Route Driver, you will be the face of our company, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) to transport goods to designated locations efficiently and safely.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and adhere to strict delivery schedules.
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points, including obtaining signatures and handling paperwork.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to minimize risk on the road.
- Report mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and reporting.
- Willingness to work varying shifts and weather conditions.
