Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates across job sites
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and documentation for all transport activities
- Collaborate with site supervisors and project managers to optimize delivery schedules and route efficiency
- Adhere to strict safety protocols while navigating high-traffic areas and construction zones
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly
- Support emergency response operations during material shortages or critical delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating dump trucks and heavy equipment
- OSHA 10-hour construction safety certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Irvine and Orange County geography
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation systems
