Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, lab results, and pharmaceutical supplies between hospitals, clinics, and labs
- Maintain strict temperature control requirements for sensitive materials
- Document all pickups/delivers with electronic logs and digital signatures
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for patient confidentiality
- Perform vehicle safety checks and maintain cleanliness of courier vehicles
- Communicate delivery status updates via mobile dispatch system
- Resolve routing issues proactively to ensure on-time deliveries
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean MVR
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic knowledge of medical specimen handling protocols
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Previous courier or healthcare experience preferred
