Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab samples, and pharmaceuticals using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain HIPAA compliance protocols for handling sensitive patient materials
- Execute timed delivery routes with GPS tracking accuracy and real-time communication
- Verify package integrity and documentation at each pickup/drop-off point
- Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities to resolve delivery exceptions
- Document all transport activities in compliance with JCAHO and OSHA standards
Qualifications
- Valid NJ driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical transport certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and navigate stairs/facilities safely
- Proficiency with mobile technology and GPS navigation systems
- Strong time management with ability to meet strict delivery windows
- Basic knowledge of medical packaging and biohazard handling
