Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver medical specimens, lab samples, and medical equipment safely and securely to various healthcare facilities.
- Adhere to strict HIPAA regulations and company safety protocols to ensure patient privacy and data security.
- Collect and drop off documents, such as lab results and patient records, between medical offices.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure the delivery vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic proof of delivery (POD) records using mobile applications.
- Interact professionally with medical staff and patients at pickup and drop-off locations.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with smartphone applications for GPS and reporting.
- Physical ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs (e.g., medical specimen boxes, delivery bags).
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability for varied shifts, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
