Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to transport freight to designated locations.
- Inspect the vehicle for mechanical defects and report any issues before and after shifts.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation as required by DOT regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with shippers and receivers.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license (depending on freight type).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
