Responsibilities
- Safely operate freight trucks to transport goods across Albuquerque and surrounding areas
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Verify shipment details and documentation upon delivery
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Assist in warehouse operations when not on delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic knowledge of Albuquerque metro area and NM highways
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Forklift certification preferred
