Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route optimization
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries within flexible timeframes
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Own or willing to acquire DOT-compliant box truck
- Strong knowledge of Plano/Dallas-Fort Worth area
- Reliable smartphone and GPS navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Excellent time management and communication skills
