Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain assigned box truck for regional freight delivery
- Load/unload cargo with precision and care using provided equipment
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate logbooks
- Manage timely deliveries through optimized route planning
- Communicate professionally with dispatch clients and receivers
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Submit documentation for settlements and expense reimbursements
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (MVR provided)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Reliable box truck (26ft max) with valid commercial insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Smartphone with reliable GPS and data connectivity
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
